Orienteering or ‘cunning running' is a popular activity among visitors to the centre, with all students being able to participate at their own level. It is a popular activity among the students with the young people enjoying the independence of working without direct supervision of staff.

We have many excellent areas available to us locally where we are able to set up star, linear and score events depending on the ability of the group. We also have the permanent course at Grizedale within easy reach from the centre.

We are happy to offer GCSE modules in orienteering for those groups wishing to specialise in this area.
