Some groups request ‘Challenge days' that may involve a journey linking various activities together or a competitive Challenge day where groups complete various tasks and activities to earn points for their team.

 
Lanehead hold an annual event called the ‘Lanehead Challenge' which is a weekend set up for teams of four students and one staff member from schools from throughout Teesside. Involving activities such as fell running, kayaking and mental challenges and orienteering by mountain bike, foot and canoe, this weekend is not for the fainthearted, but always thoroughly enjoyed by the participating teams. This event takes place on  9^th - 11^th May 2008 - please contact the centre for further details. 

 
New to the calendar for 2008 by popular request is a challenge weekend for staff and adults. Teams of 2 will complete for the trophy in a variety of activities in what we hope will become an annual event. This will take place on the 11^th - 13^th January 2008.
